The Big Ten proved it tonight when a Wisconsin team that was 106-7 in their last 113 home games lost to Texas, an overrated team from the Big 12 beat them. Maybe the Big Ten isn't as good as TAE pronounced? Then again, maybe TAE was kidding when he made this thread?

Penn State is coming off two less than impressive wins over Lafayette and Sacred Heart, and should be the underdog for a good while as they enter conference play. On New Year's Eve they take on Northwestern, a team with a similar record. Northwestern and PSU both have 2 close losses apiece, to pretty good teams. But NW does have a 30 point win over Big East super-power DePaul, which the BE supporters on this site of course fail to mention.

Penn State would be the underdog against every Big East team except Rutgers, South Florida, and Depaul.
