Jtwn not wining the D6 BB title any yr is a disgrace beating Somerset a decent team was no great accomplishment. losing to what ever seed Lancaster Cath was is fitting -they under achived bottom line. Every one watchin them last few yrs knew Wetherly should play underneath he is almost impossible for LH &D6 teams to stop but he is allowed to play 40ft from hoop??

Jordan Cambria/Central Miller over Monessen by 1 (as called by Syd Finch, sorry Titan)
Beaver Falls 69, Heights 48 (as called by Titan)
State College by 2 in AAAA (also as called by Titan)
Heights lead most of first quarter and kept the game at their pace for seven minutes, but Thomas scored on a monster alley oop early in the 2nd and that opened the door to BF's pace. As expected, Heights lack of depth and ball handling caught up with them. BF pressed man-to-man full court for 32 minutes going 12 deep. Heights kids had to expend too much energy just getting ball over half court. Not sure who was more tired: The CH players or the D-5 refs. Great season for Heights and they could have won one in interdistricts with the right draw but thanks to the WPIAL's ridiculous follow the leader system this wasn't the right draw.

And Bishop Carroll beat d3#1 Lebanon Catholic 39-30, which means all four d6A teams advance.
Look for BG and Ferndale to win their next game easily and play each other in the state quarterfinals.
Northern Cambria faces a good challenge in Tri-Valley on Wednesday.

I dont think anyone is surprised with the result with either of the D6 AA boys games.....
We knew Beaver Falls was way more athletic then anyone Heights has seen thus far and after the first quarter they didnt have a chance..
Not real surprised by Central Cambria....Jordans tough to stop and Monessen is an average team....He'll need all the luck he can get against the Quips on Wednesday.
