Williams won two B10 titles, won three bowl games including a BCS bowl, finished in the top 3 receivers all time at PSU, and recruited MD kids to PSU that Pitt would give anything to have.

There's literally 4 backup QBs that played yesterday that looked more poised than Bostick has at Pitt. 3 of them are walk-ons and one is from Central Cambria. Which once again proves my theory that Ken Bussard is a better coach than Dave Wannstedt. Lord knows MacGregor played better competition in the LHack than he would in the Big East.

And your boy jokepa is a real game day coach? I would say his asst.'s run the show when it comes to game day strategies and play calling. I mean the man doesn't even know his own players dang names.....

If Pitt is that much worse than psu, then how can they only have 1 less NFL draft pick than psu. If Pitt is that bad you would think they would have 0 NFL picks. But my count is ( and I could be wrong) - psu 5...Pitt 4.

I swear to God that reading this site is like shooting clay pidgeons. Listen, knucklehead, it was never a question of Pitt not having good players. It was always a coaching problem with them, and will be again this year. Kinder is a good football player, he just needs someone to show him how to do it right. In addition to that, PSU had 5 of a possible 9 kids get drafted today. Pitt only had 4 players total who were NFL material. Penn State doubled that and then some.

How Ohrmberger was drafted, I have no idea.

2 of those possible draftees have already signed free agent deals. Norwood to Cleveland and Rubin to St Louis. That means 7 kids have a chance, already, to prove themselves. Pitt has 4 and will have no more.

As we have talked about 75 times, of which shocker has been a part of, Joe is the final say on all gameday matters. This has HURT them at times. He is definitely way more active than you think.

And as far as him not knowing the players names, that kid was Josh Hull, a walk on. Penn State has always given any kid a shot who says they think they can make it. That's the best thing about that whole football program. How many dozens of unrecruited, overlooked kids has Paterno given a chance to? Norwood was a ZERO-STAR CORNER when he graduated HS! Do you realize how many kids try to walk-on up there? How could anyone remember those kids' names?
