Crimson09Crazy wrote:All im saying is.....The Johnstown 9th Grade team got a lot of hype playing in an exceptionally weak LHAC last year and because a few of them can dunk. They would have been an alright team in years past in the LHAC Freshmen league.
Clearly we can all see the jealousy from Crimson09Crazy. Now if these kids went to Mccort your opinion would be much different! A few of these kids are probably going to start varsity as sophomores and thats telling you something. They are going to have a big impact on the team this year.

It's not just height. It's coachability, positioning in the low post, and ability to go get the rock. The "round mound of rebound", Sir Charles Barkley, was barely 6-4 and led the NBA for ??? in rebounding. In a league with beaucoup 7 footers and 7 ft. plus-sers. Before him it was Adrian Dantley. A smaller guy that can jump and get position catches a lot of players off guard and out of position.

I think that Valcheff for westmont will be a player to watch out for. He plays the game well.

You better watch out for Cliff Eddins and Richard Agurs of Johnstown. Also playing behind they are supported by an extremely talented and hard working group of young men.
