Re: CT Vs Windber Round II
Berlin had a lot of sick/injured players when they faced CT.St. Lewis28 wrote:This years match-up between CT and Windber will be nothing as close as last years. Windbers defense is lacking greatly this year with no steller play. However I will give them credit for having tuned up their offense this year. Having a defense that gives up 44 points to berlin is just rediculous. Look at how well CT handled Berlin only allowing 8 points. NO CONTEST AT ALL CT OVER WINDBER ........ EASILY

Still. You're best defensive linebacker got ran the hell over by Zaman. I say CT would kill any team there

Also windbers linebacker is erick strapple now and he is one heck of a strong quarterback. hard to take down and even harder to run through. this kid will put zaman on his a$$

Re: CT Vs Windber Round II
Hank, Your saying the refs were bad for Berlin. How many huge runs or game changing plays did Windber have that were called back. I would say about 4 or 5. I'm not saying they were bad but i just can't comprehend why you say that were bad for Berlin. Berlin hardly had anything called on them all game. And another thing how can you say Windbers offense isnt as everyone makes them seem. They scored 47 points against your Mountaineers. obviously they could nto stop them. They scored 40 against CT the first time they played them. Berlin let 3 of Windbers running backs go over the 100+ yard plateau in that game (Ulasky,Cover,Smith). Windbers offense is great, but the defense is just that bad. Berlin would have won easily if they could have stopped Windber a tiny bit because everyone knows Windber isnt going to stop anyone defensively. Berlin played a great game, props to Saylor he is a good ball player. Now back to what we are suppose to talk about, Windber and CT. Both offenses are great, good runningbacks. Windbers defense won't stop Zaman. CT's defense won't stop Ulasky and Cover. What it comes down to is one or two defensive stops during the game. CT has a better defense so odds are for them.
