Re: Some freaky numbers.
check the stats on the narrowing of the game I remember some SI and ESPN articles detailing the fact that although there have been some upsets that go national attention across the board FBS vs FCS winning % margin of victory etc remains unchanged...

If he was as good as you make him out to be, he would be playing at one of those big D1 schools.

Yes youngbuck, because talent NEVER gets passed up by big D1 recruiters. Look at my reference made earlier to Miles Austin, who played in the same NEC conference.. no big time offers to he went to Monmouth. Lewis did the same thing.

Scott did very well at Darrell Green's defensive back camp a few summers back. He's gonna play in the league.
I think he should transfer ala Lofa Tatupu who transfered to USC from Maine and became a star and obviously is a big time NFL backer. Not saying Scott's on par with a Pro Bowl Middle Linebacker but he is good enough to play a bigger colleges.
Heres a prospect report on Scott http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/ds ... &genpos=SS
Moldo,whats your beef against him?

Re: Some freaky numbers.
Scott is a good player no doubt, but we need to understand the difference between the conference he plays in and other D1aa conferences, because the gap is fairly large. If any of the teams that APP State plays played in the NEC theyd Kill it. It is also important to understand that pro football players come from everywhere. Garcon, came from mount, they have another kid this year who i think is better than he was in college. the GLIAC and PSAC send guys pro every year, and have a number that will go this year. But these guys get picked because they typically have one attribute that makes them desirable. With the linemen it size, Capizzi, a couple of the guys on the eagles. Garcon, and guys like that speed. If Scott is gonna make it to the next level he is going to have to showcase one of these. Making a bunch of tackles in a not good conference will get you recognized, but one attribute that teams cannot pass up gets you signed.

Everyone understands the NEC is garbage, but a good football player is a good football player

A good football player is a good football, but how are we defining what makes a good football player? There has to be some comparative analysis something to go off. No question scott is a good football player in the NEC and in the grand scheme of things one of the better kids playing football right now, but that does not usually transfer to an NFL career. Your a Pitt fan Scott McKillop went in the 5th round right?
