Too bad Laz didn't send out Shane to wrestle Ripple @ 140 ... just judging by the fight that Ripple got at 140 ... and the fall Shane got at 145 (@ 1:50), I'd have loved to see them go at it. That'll come at the Thomas, I'm told.

Bedford could have sent out Wilson at 140 and bumped Ripple to 145 to wrestle Shane

Hey smart guy. What were they supposed to do. Call time out pull Ripple off the mat and replace him with Wilson?

Bedford had to send the first wrestler out at 140!!! They sent Ripple! The weight Shane normally wrestles!! Gave CR the option of who they wanted to send out to face him. They opted to send out Yothers. CR won the toss had the matchups they wanted. They chose not to wrestle Shane vs. Ripple.

Wasn't trying to be smart. I wanted to see those two wrestle. Josh wasn't even warming up before the 140 match....you didn't have to be a rocket scientist to see they were going to bump Shane up a weight class

I think the bottom line is that it was Lazor's decision to pass on the Ripple / Shane matchup ... and I think that was a mistake ... and I think he thinks that now also (since he told the Mirror he felt he was outcoached) ...

I assume he thought he was giving his team a chance at a few more points ... and indeed perhaps that could have been ...

It was a BLAST to be in that gym! Just a fun, fun place to be! All 3 CR state finalists from last year were in attendance ... 2 of them enjoying the "homecoming" to the hilt!

Bottom line, Ripple went out at 140. Would have been a great match.
