You don't have to have thugs, but you do have to admit some borderline kids, because everyone else in the league is doing it. And guess what, a larger percentage of the the borderline kids get into trouble, than say the kids with 3.0 GPAs. I think I heard that Florida had something like 250 different legal issues since Meyer took over.

There's always going to be legal issues when you're dealing with college students. Some places just have more than others. The problem I have is when a coach decides to only suspend his players for one quarter after he is poking an opposing player in the eyes.

If you stick an opposing player in the eyes, someone might just stick you in the pokey. I'll betcha that hurts.

PSU gets thugzzz all the time and they are only the 3rd or 4th best team in the BIg preTENd every year.
