I don't know if you are aware, but the entire country has been in a recession for past 2 or 3 years. There aren't any new businesses anywhere.

I don't think unemployment numbers are any higher here than most places right now.

The entire country has not been in a recession since 1985, chuckles. Portraying Johnstown's plight as a microcosm of the "recession" is giving that city council far, far too much credit.

Once again I ask: How bad is it when businesses will not move into an area that is dominated by ONE competitor?
