So Newton choosing St Francis over Pitt, Mary, Temple, PSU is him "keeping his head on straight"? And he's a D1 athlete, you say? What D1 offers did Zak Newton have?
Then you said he didn't "listen to the talk". What talk? Newton was very good but not a division 1 athlete. You're making this out like SFU pulled some kind of recruiting coup and stole him from Pitt or Penn State.
