Without a doubt, Jim Martin, Danville HS, Penn State University.

Hands Down Matt Beaujon, WH, Notre Dame
Re: BEST PA Wrestler of ALL TIME
I really don't know who the best of all time in PA may be, there's certainly several that can make a claim including Schopp. But there's one that certainly started to make his mark in the state today - Wiercioch a state champ as a freshman middle weight. Pretty impressive.
I wonder if he's young enough to wrestle in PJW's this year?

There is no right answer here. But there are lots of wrong answers posted on here. Good lord. Strayer? Beaujon? Schopp? Roberts? Did Strayer ever win a title? Did or have any won multiple titles? Those guys are or were all great. But best of all time, give me a break. How can we mention anyone without multiple titles?
Wow. Weircoch is a stud. A freshman winning 152 is very impressive. Carr beating Moss was also nice to see. I love watching the South Fayette coach. Talk about high energy.
Congrats to Schopp. It was great to see him win a title finally. He really deserved it. Hopefully his sidekick can get one next year!!
D-5- Baker had a great little run and all the NS kids wrestled really well I thought with the exception of Roberts in the semi's. I was really happy for Easter and Thomas to finally get some hardware. Both are good hardworking kids and both were in loaded weights. Cahill is really going to be a force in the next 3 years. He came very close to getting a medal this year.

Re: BEST PA Wrestler of ALL TIME
Strayer was 5th or 6th as a freshman, 1st as a sophmore, 3rd as a junior and 1st as a Senior pluss he handed Scott his only two defeats in HS....In my book is is one of the better wrestler to come out of PA.
Trivia question Strayer was only beaten a few times in his career...If I remeber correctly it was only 8 times Name the Bedford County wrestler that beat him and what school did he attend ?

As a freshman in 2001 Strayer got 7th or 8th at 103. Northern Bedford's Brandon Reasy got 5th at the same weight, so that is my guess.
