I was saying he's NOT ineligible for the next game....the only way he could be ineligible for the next game would be to be thrown out and you unless a technical was his second, he's not ejected, he just fouled out...he's good to go the way i understand the rule for the Sewickley game.

NBC hung with Sewickley for most of a half last year. I'm not saying TM will win or even keep it close. They kept it much closer with Kennedy last year than people expected.


Sewickley is an academy that has how many kids in the low socio-economic range? How many of their kids are very well to do and can get all the extra practice, camps, etc they probably want? I'm not saying that makes a great team either, but it sure does help. The school is full of well to do families and that usually leads to pretty decent athletes. I don't know why, but personally I feel this is true.


Anyway, congrats to the Titans! 10 years ago, I never ever thought I'd speak those words in my life, lol. Coach Gates, Sneaks, and Reihart (as well as a neighbor and a dad who graduated from TM) have given me new found hope! Here's to the Titans giving Coach Bailey a chance to coach in the big game. It might be a pipedream, but they are two games away from reaching the PIAA finals. They are also possibly the last public standing!

Heres the thing wpial, tussey a sideling hill team which you and many lhac people said basically couldn't cut it in the wpial or lhac conferences is still alive with 8 teams left! They already blasted wpial cornell by 20+ and won another quality game tonight.Now they are going up against number 1 ranked(according to annoucers tonight) sewickly academy(aka private recruiting school) .Yes they have more size than tussey and probably are alot more athletic,but do they have the fundamentals? That is what will keep tussey in the game.Sewickly should win but don't count on it,it will be alot closer than you think my friend.Just keep hyping the wpial.Right now sewickly has to win to get the wpial back to.500 with the supposed sub par sideling hill! Titan, I am not going to get into a "my dogs better that your dog" agruement over who will win friday night. No matter what happens on friday the sun is still going to rise saturday morning and win or lose I believe the Tussey fans will still have pride for their team. When these young men on the court were young their dream was probably to achieve such a goal that they have reached. then loud mouths like you instead of giving credit where credit is do will always knock their achievement by dissing the competition. I never said TM wil win, just congrats to them for an Elite Eight appearance. so if you want to knock TM go ahead. and by the way, if you are giving 1000 points I will take that bet. My suggestion to you is if you have so much knowledge, maybe Bailey should stay home friday and you with all your wisdom can coach TM and lead them to the state title.

Quite honestly, I am hoping that Tussey Mountain wins. I detest private schools like Sewickley "(basketball)Academy." However, realistically, there is a significant talent gap between TM and SA...but the PIAA basketball playoffs is a one shot deal, and if TM plays well and SA poops the bed, then anything can happen...

I know everyone respects Bailey's ability to coach Xs and Os, but SA's coach Win Palmer is outstanding as well.

With that said, Sewickley Academy solid class A team, but probably not as good as Johnstown, so I see no reason why TM can't beat them. Apparently, Elk County played good defense on Droney (held him to 7pts), but how do you only score 19 points in 32 minutes???

TM should focus on Droney, but they can't ignore Palmer's son or the 6'8" kid in the middle. If TM ignores those kids, trust me when I tell you that Palmer is a good enough Xs and Os guy that he will adjust and exploit it.

TM will have their hands full for sure, but it is a winnable game for them.

isn't tuition at sewickly about $18k per year? Makes mccort seam like a bargain.
