The Ken Lantzy game is a great experience for the players that get chosen. It is not a college recruiting game so don't hype it up to be more than it is. Just because teams like CV and Ferndale are small and have terrible seasons does not mean that they don't have at least 1 solid ball player that could hold their own with others in the area. A lot of these kids are never going to play football again so don't take away from them the work they put in to stay in shape for a football game 8 months after their last game as a senior. Not to mention working to raise money so they can participate. Don't knock the kids, just show support for what they have achieved.

Forest Hills/Bishop McCort combo vs. The rest of the Ken Lantzy Allstars.

It is defiantly NOT the finest Seniors out there, In our town it's a lot of small town politics on who get's to go, If you have the name, money or power within the school, it doesn't matter if your one of the best or have a great record, I know kids that put in 9 years of playing and then get screwed in their senior year. As far as I am concerned that game is a joke and colleges should look at stats not the one that are playing in it. :lol:

It gives players from lesser teams a chance to show what they can do with other players that are pretty good. The game fills the stands every year with or without you guys so go ahead and state your opinion. Obviously it doesn't change the game that has been playing in the summer for years. Lets take a look at the real reason its being played...that gets lost in the mix...That's why it shouldn't be thrown out. Players not getting picked that should be is a small reason compared to the bigger picture. It means more than just the game. Long live the Lantzy Game...
