I believe that Gibbons will be able to play in a small college. He does not look to be a very strong kid, but is skilled. Basketball is a tough sport to play at the next level, especially the D1 level. I went see IUP last season and that is DII and they are tough, couldn't see Gibbons playing at IUP

i see NS running through the westpac, they could have a little trouble if they play shade in the championship game, im not sure if they play them in regular season. NS will be the real deal this year.

I agree that north star is going to be good this year but what about ct? I think that will be one of the best games this year... they have junior Dan Zambanini, sophomore Dillon Boyer, seniors Hayden Stumpo (Ferndale transfer) and Joe Roman.. and last but not least, Ct's best player Grant Spiegle.. Spiegle led the team last year in almost every category but yet still did not get recogized as All- West Pac, or anything all because of the name game but this year there will be no denying his talent.. CT v NS will be a great one

Waterbug I would say CT has a solid 5. Not sure they have much coming off the bench though. I will give them an A plus for coach Lesko. I do think CT will struggle with Berlin,Shade,North Star and Blacklick just because of all their size. Spiegle boy is good but will have to put up big numbers in crutial games with the talent that these 4 teams have.

i think cvalley will still be a good team. They did lose alot but they have alot of talent to replace last years seniors, i think they'll be down but they have an all junior year they should be atop the standings for this year and the next, plus they have great coaching year in year out

PeteRose101 - I wish the Jays the best but I do not know how you replace Preuss, Lupek, Roberts, Kushner, Uncapher, Soflarsky. In my opinion they will struggle to be .500. North Star, Conemaugh Township and Blacklick Valley should have solid squads. Ferndale, Portage, Conemaugh Valley should be down and Windber could be OK.

Most recent pre-season poll:

North Star
Conemaugh Township
Blacklick Valley
Windber
Conemaugh Valley
Portage
Ferndale

the better uncapher is back and they have a very solid group of big kids coming up they will be the sleeperof the north this year and i could see them finishing second behind north star
