So I hear that Jarid Cover was in a motorcycle wreck and hasn't been to football all summer. Anyone know when he will be back?

From what I've seen of WJAC's 2-a-days, Blacklick seems to be the favorite. I'll give you a sleeper pick...Ferndale. One of the posters said by losing Hayden Stumpo, Ferndale is in for a long season. Two words...Ryan Gaunt. The recent graduate made Stumpo look a helluva lot better than he is. Let see what he can do at CT with 4 of 5 new lineman; and without a receiver like Gaunt.
Back to Ferndale; offensive line of Hrabosky, Jake Toth, Kozak, Urban and either T. Smith or Naylor AVERAGES 280 lbs. 4 of the 5 lettered last year. Chad Eisenhuth, their sophomore is above Stumpo in arm strength, mobility, and speed. The running game of Horvath and Walters, who ran amazingly during the Williamsburg scrimmage is better than last year. The receiving corps of Kulback, Mike Dorchack, and Kovalewski, all returning letterman are equal to what Gaunt did last year. Yeah, it probably will take 3 to replace 1. On defense, you have Urban, Naylor, and Hrabosky who at 6' 4", 243 was being double and triple teamed against Williamsburg. The linebackers of Matt Dorchak, Kovalewski and the tackling machine known as Devin Murphy, again all returning letterman will contribute a lot to their defense. The secondary of Kulback, Gartrell, Mike Dorchack and Walters, again, all returning letterman are also very good. Yes, Ferndale did lose Stumpo to CT and Brock Eisenhuth, who never lived up to the hype, to Johnstown, but their replacements will more than make up for their absence.

Dude are you on drugs? Just because a team has a big line doesn't mean a thing.

Dude are you on drugs? Just because a team has a big line means nothing. Are those big boys going to be able to move when the option comes at them all day long? Heck no. Ferndale is not going to even be close to as good as you think. As far as Blacklick, they do have a good defense returning but other than Manda on offense they are going to struggle. Yeah they are going to shut down teams, but not enough to where their offense is going to score enough points to win against the top teams.
And as far as Williamsburg, they are one of the worst teams in the nation. You can obviously make yourself look good against them.

BBsoccer; obviously you seem to be biased toward Berlin, the same as I am towards Ferndale. All I know is that the team I saw last year compared to the first scrimmage, very limited comparison I know, are two completely different teams. I didn't say Ferndale was going to win the WestPac, I listed them as a sleeper; a sleeper being a team you don't expect to do well, or to "come out of nowhere". Anyway, good luck to Berlin and all the teams. BTW, 9/3/10, Ferndale @ Berlin.

I am not biased towards Berlin, I just know how the team is going to turn out each year and out. This year we are finally loaded and the whole town is expecting big things this year. Yeah we play you guys first week. Good luck.
