When I was a senior we had pretty much kept up practices straight through our bye-week and into the next, conditioning and all. When our first opponent rolled into town we manhandled them after barely getting the win at 14-0 during the regular season. We weren't sloppy or sluggish but rather well rested and very well prepared. I say take it if you can.
Yeah I would rather have a week off before playoffs because I think rest is more important at that time of the year. You have already gone 9 straight weeks and being healthy at the most important time of the year would be the more sensible thing.
