When have I talked up Ian this year? I believe its everyone else from different schools there buddy. You say he isn't durable? Are you freaking kidding me? He weighs 160 lbs but runs like he is 200 lbs. Do you see that every day? He gives his heart out every play and never backs away from contact. When the kid has the ball in his hands every play he is bound to get hurt here and there. I seriously can't wait til the Windber game even more now. Put the kid down some more.

I agree. Berlin's line this year has been phenomenal. Definitely the reason why we beat RIdge and North Star.

I am not from berlin but I can apreciate what that team is doing for their school and community

Having a season like their football team is having can really rally a community... especially one that maybe doesnt see sports seasons like this all the time

Yeah it definitely has. There was so many people ready for the season. I never saw so many people watching camp this year. Berlin usually has a great team about every 6 years so have to take it all in when it comes. Hopefully they can continue to do great things this year.

i didnt put the kid down at all.. saying someone isnt durable doesnt mean your putting someone down. I know in the last 3 years he's missed games, and dont tell me about kids that weight 160 lbs that cant be durable and are expected to get hurt. That is a joke. .

if you weight 160 lbs and get hurt every time you try to take on someone with a few pounds on you, id expect youd be a smart enough football player to not do it anymore, or at least try to shy away from someone who has a few pounds on you.

And bb for your information, if he gets hurt at the high school level, in the WestPAC and you think that the colleges dont see that, your crazy. Especially the bigger colleges you claim are looking at him. Think about it there buddy, 190 pounds+ at those colleges is every other player so if he gets hurt now what do you think is going to happen @ college, and sorry i doubt he'll put on 30+lbs to get to 190 when he gets to college, and still be able to keep his speed, which right now, if he is getting recruited by the colleges you claim are recruiting him they're looking at his speed, and definitely not his durability...

again, not putting the kid down at all im just stating facts that maybe he should consider before he decides to be a tackle dummy @ a big college.

And Hank i am not against anything thats not windber, like i said i could care less what windber does, I think its great berlin is having a good season, as with township, ridge, north star and portage. All im saying is i find its amusing that once a team gets good they come out and talk **** on a school that wins year in and year out. And not just windber, if they would say stuff like that about portage i would feel the same way.

Enjoy your glory now because when ian goes your back to nothing. much like a lot of other schools with one or two good real athletes. I guess you gotta talk your **** whenever you get the chance.

Ok, 3 years ago he had just about as bad as a concussion as you can get. That is bad luck. Last year he didn't miss a game. This year, once again, had bad luck with a neck stinger. What other player in this area has the ball in his hands every down? No one. You are bound to get hurt when the ball is in your hands 50+ times a game. Don't you realize that he is put in situations to get hurt. It's the type of offense they run. Do you think he is gonna carry the ball every play in college? Heck no. He won't be asked to. And as for gaining weight, yeah he isn't gonna gain 30 lbs by next year, but by adding weight on doesn't make you tougher either.

Where in anything I said was I aggressive or running my mouth? I was talking about what everyone else was and going back and forth with everything like everyone else? Im sorry I call people out on things they say that I dont agree with, everyone on here has an opinion and thats all I was giving.

And learn to spell ace, thats the berlin education for ya, its ridiculous.

And to tell me to go outside of Windber and look at the world? have you ever been outside of Berlin? Have you ever spent extensive time outside of your home town???

good, ian  there is no reason he should be playing saturday. yes rockwood poses some threat after they held up portage at the half but this game will be a berlin victory. the rockets are improving tho. the rest of the mounties can't take them lightly
