Very good post VAD1, just last week I was told that D-5 didn't award Turkeyfoot forefits, which I knew was incorrect. As far as D-6 football committe this is the second snafu going into this season. You start the season without a clear plan to handle the Laurel Valley sistuation and a AAA playoff format. Looks like a group of high school administration who don't want to step on anyone's toes. Just remember these are people who make 6 digit salaries paid by our tax dollars.

Well said, and to my knowledge, every team was informed that it would be taken by the average number of games played. No big secret. Awful job by D6 committee.

Just checked the D6 site on points. No points were given or taken, if JV would have won they would have passed everyone up but its like beating a dead horse, this was said about 5 days ago in an earlier post

[quote]By the way Blueandwhitelion, I had the opportunity to make the PM vs. United game rather than watching my Rangers. That game should have been 28-6 rather than 14-6. The horrific officiating crew made a phantom holding call on the Ferens TD and the crew also blew a play dead when a fumble, NOT A MUFFED PUNT, a fumble return that would have went for a touchdown. You can hate those guys over in Clymer for stealing your little Heritage title, but they can play. Besides, if they beat Ligonear with Lural Valley combined, why should they have to do it separately (exactly why it is fair that they take a split from 8 games rather than 9 when the conference originally plays those two teams separately)[quote]

I never said anything about the PM United game. They beat us that's fine they were the better team that night. All I was complaining about is the amount of points they will be given. Every one here agrees it's a for-fit so 100 points should be given. It should not be an average of your total points. To put it another way PM gets 138 points for the for-fit and Purchase Line would get ZERO for the same for-fit.Boy that seems fare.

Looks like they need spelling lessons in Armaugh. Just saying blueandwhite, every d6 A topic on bleachercoaches.com that is talked about, you are crying about PM. Like VAD1 said, it's the District's fault and Suckerfish is right, if you look on the district website, no points were awarded nor taken. Good luck to your Lions. Go Rangers!

Sorry it's Armagh. (crying about some ones is a little petty. But if that's all you got)

I'm not bashing PM as a team I'm bashing the system. Did PM look hard for a team? I don't know. Did every one else find a team? Yes. Did the district tell all the teams they could get points for not playing? I don't think so. The conference had a few schools ask about joining when LV dropped out and they said no they wanted to wait until the court case was done. That put all the schools in a bind. The system let everyone down that is what I'm saying.
