Re: Pitt Panther "Attend"ance
You play in a conference loaded with Unranked teams. You pretty much play idle every week. The first team Utah played this year smoked them. Miami and Notre Dame Stink. It would be pathetic if any Big East team was ranked at this point. They shouldn't even receive votes. Every team in the Big East is a below .500 team this year in a normal conference.

Re: Pitt Panther "Attend"ance
On a serious note, and speaking of attendance, why wasn't Beaver Stadium sold out for Saturday's big game with Northwestern? After all, most of the PSU fans surely anticipated Joepa's 400th win. Wasn't that bad of a weather day for November, and the 3:30 start wasn't bad. Students were out of bed by then, and nobody had to get up a 6 AM to be there for a noon start. Just wondering.

Re: Pitt Panther "Attend"ance
The student seats are all sold but the University screws over the students with their ticket policy. You have to go online submit your ticket for sale and get only face value for it or just give it to another student. This has to be done by Thursday evening so if any students have any home emergencies, are sick, have to study, or for some reason cannot go to the game between Thursday and Saturday the ticket is worthless. There are 21,000 student seats so some of these emergencies do come up. Not only can the students not get any money for their seat but they also cannot give the ticket to anyone else after Thursday. Another issue with the student ticket policy is that you have to allow nearly an hour (sometimes more on big games) from the time you arrive at the ticket gate until you actually get to your seat. These are the reasons why I decided not to get student tickets this season but instead have gotten other seats for all the games this year. Don't blame the students but rather the people implementing these asinine policies in which none of them seem to have a GED.

Re: Pitt Panther "Attend"ance
This may sound like the initial post under this topic, but who counts the attendance at Penn state basketball games? I watched alot of the game tonight vs Central Connecticut State and there was NO WAY that the attendance was 4,196 at the BJC. I mean all I saw was BLUE everywhere. I'll bet in PSU's 4 home games so far this year, that, if the attendance was combined, would not equal a sellout. Not too good. Maybe they should give the fans a free wiener AND a coke. I can't understand why PSU fans, students and alumni don't want to see teams like Fairfield, Lehigh and CCS come into the arena to play the Nits. It's dumbfounding.
