Central 35
Indian Valley 6

End of 3rd. quarter...

Central is going to be a tough opening round draw for someone in 6 AA.
Much, much improved from the beginning of the season.

well, obviously runk was rusty and not 100% at the beginning of the year from the baseball injury. it was questionable as to if he would even play the season opener. then they got clearfield right off the bat who is undefeated. they lost a tough one to bellfonte, a nailbiter to tyrone, etc. i've been calling them the most dangerous low seed i wouldn't want to face first round. i wonder if tyrone or forest hills will get them in their half of the bracket? my guess is forest hills, chestnut ridge, central and either penn cambria or central cambria will be on a side of the bracket.

i heard mccort was up big over mo valley. 35-0 at one point. it should be a classic between bellwood/mccort next week. will bellwood finally get their revenge for the past two seasons when mccort took them out?

ok who wants to hear about the screwup at the ct windber game. lol.. well i'll tell you anyway. about 1 min is left in the game windber has a 3rd and 10 at the c.t 40. they run a pass play and he goes out of bounds about 6 inches short, the coach in the box tells demarco its a 1st and 10, he then calls a rollout pass play and is sacked, they go to line up to run another play and surprise the down markers are moved to c.t. ball, i feel really really bad for those kids who gave it their all to be denied by a coach in the booth who could see the down marker is at 4, a coach on the sideline 3 feet from the down marker, and a scoreboard showing 4th down, what a bummer. but i'll take it, that field was in horibble shape as most are i guess, i have been informed that no matter who wins the final game will be held in somerset, no matter who it is in the finals. c.t will be heading to nbc saturday night as berlin has already chosen friday which makes sense. getting the extra day will be helpful
