What were windbers best seasons under Demarco? Did they beat Carrol in the 2000's or was it earlier?

as being a former player for demarco i really appreciate the things that are being said...i thought there would be alot more bashing and hank i really appreciate that from you yeah there was times where i hated the guy too but i will be his biggest fan all my life he taught me and alot of people alot of things and alot of things about life not just football...as for his coaching he does one heck of a job but we all know people grow old and its time for a change...also besides beating BC for the combined championship he won numerous district titles and took windber to a 49 game regular season winning streak... in 2006 i believe they shut out 7 or 8 teams before portage finally broke that. the guy will be greatly missed. as for the new coach i dont believe it will be any of the slatcofs because of what happen to them while they were in windber but we wont get into that. i would assume as many of you also would it will be someone who has been there for quite a few years now...thanks again

hey say oww....this is your big chance. Take over the Windber program, live in your own little uncompetitive westpac world, play no one and have your friends at the Tribune write stories about how great you and your team are. Stories every week and every game. While they are at it they can probably promote some of your kids for all state 9kids who will never step on a college field or court) while passing over other much worthier candidates who actually play some competition. You'd have it wired man.

...... but at Windber I hear you better make sure none of your players feels bad about themselves. You better be "nice". you better make sure they all get some kind of trophy ...artificial and phony as it may be..... or you too will feel the wrath of the "powers that be". Never mind you have 192 wins.

psycho... your a douche. Coaches that win, win for a reason.. regardless of the competition.

Get over yourself.

Every LHAC coach that wins beats teams with similar abilities. No different than what Windber does. Other than North Star when they should have beat Serra, Windber has had a better showing against the WPIAL than any other WestPAC school. It all boils down to coaching. Nobody would try to take anything away from Bailey or Kenny Salem, so dont try to do it to DeMarco.

You misunderstand my post. 192 wins speak for itself. Your coach got the shaft.

Sure the westpac is what it is, which is not very competitive, but 192 wins speaks for itself. Your coach has been an asset to Windber and the area for years and will be missed. Too bad he will not be around to coach in a competitive league once CONSOLIDATION starts. He'd be great as long as he was allowed to coach.
I am sorry if I gave the impression that your coach was no good. That was not my intention.

Too bad you won't be around when consolidation starts, psycho. Because consolidation is never going to start, at least not in the next 20 years. And since you are, what, about 80, then I guess your days are numbered. Like I have said before, just because you may rant the loudest doesn't mean anyone shares your views.

Why is it necessary to bring these views into a post lauding the merits of a guy who devoted over 30 years of his life to helping local youth??? I know why - its because you have such low self-esteem, and you desperately want some attention. Considering all of the time that high school coaches like Demarco put into practices, workouts, etc they basically work for free. Unless you have made the same sacrifice, then you should direct your rants and tirades to a different thread.
