Due to your avatar as I was reading this in my head, I was hearing it in the voice of Hank Hill.

I really can't believe some kid said that already. You knocked off a slow/beat up Berlin team with a sick Ian Sayler. He had the flu and wasn't near 100%, got knocked out early and STILL ran all over you. If Berlin was even close to being 100% North gets stomped, you won and that's all that matters but if your team is as cocky as you are North Star won't win more than 5 games. Atleast Berlin did something special, undefeated season for the third time I think? You guys just got hot at the right time and got crushed by a much better team. The sad thing is Clairton probably could've made it much worse. And trust me, I hope North Star wins D5 just to get stomped agian. Just think about all of that before your first game. There's a big difference between being confident and being cocky. The team that wins is the team that knows they're good but keeps their mouths shut. If you're as good as you say, quiet down and win D5 and just keep within 21 of the WPIAL. I'll have crazy respect for you and your team then.

North Star was a good west pac team, thats it. If clarioton played North star 10 times tht season they would win, 10 times. Its not about coaching its not about nerves its about talent, and thts what north star lacked against clariton

you are out of your mind making these predictions, there are a lot of schools that will compete for d5 next year. you have no idea what will happen in the next 7 months, kids get hurt and you have no idea who will be healthy next year for your team.

the kids were nervous to play a school of that size
You're were nervous to play a school that size? How small of a school do you want?
Clairton has 124 males in the top three grades, North Star has 163 males. Those numbers are listed on http://www.PIAA.org.

WestPac don't stand a chance. Just drop it already! Clairton will win another state title next year.

this can be the winning coach of D5's post game interview next year:
"The Bears are who we thought they were! Now, if you wanna crown their a** then crown 'em! But they are who we thought they were! And thats why we lost by 50!"
