i read the article about the johnstown players swigning in the paper just yesterday, congratulations to mr. morris and calvin both picked schools that i feel fit them right but where is cody "chody" wallace going? i dont see him as any type of ball player...

The thing in Westmont is pretty serious though. Families are fleeing in droves (or trying to). I know a guy out off Menoher who pays almost 20,000 a year in taxes. His neighbor pays 17,000. That's nuts.
Those tax rates are crazy. However, a libertarian I am not. Not even close. Actually, I have all of the answers, but no one will listen to me. :)

We have something in common.

I'd like your opinion on the Westmont merger announcement. It is surely years overdue and with 200 houses on the market in Westmont and Upper Yoder, the people are obviously speaking with their feet (or trying to). But how do you read it? What do you see as the hurdles? Who is the most clikely merger partner? What are the chances that they are successful?

You gotta have alot of respect for the Westmont school board for laying their cards on the table.

Maybe we should allow a business or two in our school district so we can have some tax money come from somewhere.
