Johnstown played Indiana in 1992 and 1993. In fact Geroy Simon had a milestone against Indiana his senior year cant quite remember what it was at the moment. When they were in the WPIAL AAA in the early 90s they had one open week. When they were AAAA starting in 1992 they had two open weeks to schedule. They had Indiana a few years, Bellefonte a year, and Punxsy a few years.

I think it was 1992, I do remember those two year now, I probally should have said I never understood why it was droped when classifications where changed

Someone alluded to FH having a down year sometime past. Actually, they have had 3 or 4 "bad" years in Don's tenure. Out of nearly 40, that's not too shabby.

Exactly my point. I'm 20 years old, I don't remember too many bad years. I know '07 was the only one I know of.

You are just looking at the exception rather than the reality. Besides Bellwood in A and Tyrone and FH in AA there are no other public school teams in the district that realistically have a chance of winning a district championship every year. What's that leave? 30+ schools that have ups and downs.
