most on here analyze games from what they see. you are not the first to come on here as a first time poster and emphatically state how bad a opposing teams defense or offense is... the windber team lost only 1 game to a twp team that also only lost one game. most on here feel this will be a very good game, others just come on to think their alma mater can walk on water. and as for paterno and madden remarks.... what do you think you were doing with your very first post? introducing yourself to us?

with rain for tomorrow it may hurt the passing game for n.s. but they are capable of running the ball and should have against b.v. they were picking up 8+ yds on every carry but offensive coordinator kept trying to pass in 40 mile and hour winds and rain. they need to concentrate more on the running game if they plan on advancing past d5 weather will be a lot worse then.

itll be a good game. i think ns will take this battle though. as long as ns can execute and run the right play they shall be victorious. bryan is the entire team for windber. you stop him you win. gotta love high school football

Watched them both and I think Windber will come out on top. North Star is not a very disciplined group and commit a lot of penalties, especially the 15 yard personal foul variety. Windber will have to put pressure on the QB. North Star RB Miller is tough too. I still think that this is going to come down to discipline and Windber will win that battle. Last week North Star had over 100 yards in penalties and five were personal fouls and that is on their own field????

Windber 27
North Star 21

Well its game day and all the BS stops and its time to let the score determine all the hype. NS defiently has to watch the personal fouls and an occasional holding call against them. The field is in decent shape so no excuses there but with some expected rain it should turn out to be a game best established on the ground. NS's Zbronchick is a powerfull runner as is Bryan so it will be interesting to see who has more kick left at the end.

Well it was defiently a ball game. I knew once Windber got tht 1st TD NS would have to play catch-up the rest of the game. Tht was a tough call at the end whether to go for 2 and win or go for 1 and tie. If they must insist on going for 2 they should've done a pulling play with a guard and let max keep the ball to either run it or perhaps and end-around. Not a full-back flat pass(I belive this is wht they tried.) As for going for one and tying if tht wouldve worked do a squib and run like hell. Tough call anyway you look at it, but in
3-4 weeks when they play again I believe NS will be ready and think they score will show it.

NS could play Windber 5 more times and they still would not be able to stop Windber's running game. If it wasn't for the fumble on the opening drive and the weather Windber would have won by 2 TD's.
