So were a lot of our sons, brothers, fathers, grandfathers, etc.

I doubt too many of our Sons were WW2 vets.

Just can't let it die, can you... Our sons have been in war in Afgahanistan for 11 years and were in Iraq for nearly 9 years. When was the flag lowered to memorialize any of the Irag and Afghanistan vets who died in battle?

Every Memorial Day the flag is lowered to half-staff from dawn until noon. Along with a national moment of silence at 3 pm.
