I hear a supposedly once "Pale Rider's" son is going to have one crack up season on the mound this season. I'm gonna go crazy here and say that kid is MLB bound.

Re: Northern Bedford
Northern Bedford will be a tough contender in this up coming season. having only lost 3 senior starters and a young pitching squad coming back this year as veterans, with a solid infield and young outfield filled with talented athletes backingbn up that pitching duo of Grace and Fluke. should be one good season for the black panthers.

Re: Northern Bedford
very true, but sollenberger will back in the outfield, after having a good season last year leading into a 1000 yard season in football, and a 3rd place finish in the district wrestling tourney.. very athletic and will highly contribute to the panthers arsenal.. solid
Re: Northern Bedford
Referring to earlier posts. I have been watching this group of kids as i did the group before them and the group after them. So i know a little about the NB kids. Trust me there is No way coach mac is going to put a kid in a tough game that cant hit. Mac already might have to cover the catcher with a hitter, he cant cover a second person no matter how good there D is.
Re: Northern Bedford
I don't think mac will need a DH for the catcher this year...

Re: Northern Bedford
IF I would guess here are the lineups with Grace and Fluke pitching respectfully:
Jake Stern 6
Issac Stern 4
Matt Sollenberger 7
Eric Grace 1
Logan Fluke 8
Wes Foor 5
Cory Furry 2
Kyler Diehl 3 (Could be England here)
Garrett England 9 (Could be Diehl, Ebersole, Frederick)
Jake Stern 6
Issac Stern 4
Matt Sollenberger 8
Eric Grace 3
Logan Fluke 1
Wes Foor 5
Cory Furry 2
Garrett England
Brandan Ebersole 9
Pitching Staff you know about the big two... but look for Wes Foor and Kyler Diehl to make this a solid staff and if its a wet spring, Northern could run the table playing 4 or 5 times a week. I think it will be really tough for the 10th grades to make an impact with this group. This might be the deepest NB team since Kevin Gable was catching way bay in the day. I think they will be exciting to watch, just hope that some of the kids know their roles.

Re: Northern Bedford
From what I just read that sounds pretty correct... I don't see Mac needing a DH for Fury this year.. but as for the outfield I see it as sollenberger England and a deihl as well as possibly fluke with a great arm.

Re: Northern Bedford
the northern bedford baseball team looked fantastic last night night in there scrimmage againts the Mustangs from Portage. they had very few errors, no earned runs, and the pitchers dominated on the hill.
