This points system is very in depth and I do not know all of the criteria figured into it that is why I am a bleachercoach and not a real coach. And I'm sure if the seeds were not correct then the real coach would address that.

Which is why I posed the question to someone whom may have better information than myself. As far as the point system, it does not take a brain surgeon to figure it out. Simple mathmatics would suffice. Problem is there must be other critera that comes into play and that is what I was actually fishing for. Not complaning.......Inquiring! I don't care to participate in debates on a forum nor will I.

just looked at the bracket. seeds 2,3,4 had real close records. Is it a situation where 4 beat 3, but lost to 2. And then 3 beat 2 but lost to 4. Or some combination.
Was there Past finishes that came into play?

I would like to know the formula behind the seeding process too. If anyone actually knows everything that goes into it and such.

This does seem fishy. But you do have to realize their were loses in this bracket that really messed up the seeding. I think the brackets could have fell anyway. This will be a very interesting bracket. I believe everyone has a story that defines success therefore if they did not seed this proper young Cahill will be my upset special pick for this tournament. I also feel Crouse will be a upset special on his way through beating both boys seeded above him.

The seeding criteria is on a few pages at the D5 website:

Pages 5 - 7 in particular.
