FACT...How can anyone with common sense think that a returning starter would not help them??? If he was flat out terrible, as has been stated on this board, how did he start last year for a Bedford team that is better record-wise than this years team?

Fact again. With him and #12 inside Bedford would have a great tandem. Troy and Derek on the outside would make the teams stay honest as well.
