Good Argument, 8 goals in 9.5 periods.

Bottom line, Fleury does a good job of keeping both teams in the hockey game. I recommend watching some other games and seeing how other goalies play

I do and I see a lot softer goals in more critical times of the game. Like Crawford letting one in a few minutes into game 1 from a shot 3 feet over the blue line with no traffic in front. What about the goal Quick left in during OT of game 1, that was a stellar opportunity? Look at some of the softies Nabokov (most experienced goalie in the playoffs) left in during the series. Let's talk about Schneider up in Vancover. Important game 3 and he was letting goals with wide open lanes through and now there is talk of putting Roberto back between the pipes. Price is playing horrible, Lundquist has been average at best, and Jimmy Howard looked lost as much as he has looked like an NHL goalie.

What other goalies do you want to talk about?

Find me a goalie that doesn't allow soft goals and I'll find you a liar.

There seems to be a great divide of people that love Fleury and people that "hate" him. I'm on the love side of the fence but that doesn't mean I can't see his struggles. I like to think that for every "soft" goal he allows he probably makes an athletic save he "shouldn't" make somewhere along the line to cancel out the weak goal. Maybe thats just be lookin' through my flower colored glasses but I don't see a huge gap between Fleurys overall sample and that of other goalies in this playoff.

Sure would be nice to see the referees call the games the same in the playoffs as they do during the regular season.

During the playoffs, the referees seem to be afraid to make calls that will affect the outcome of the game. Consequently, they let more things go making the less skilled teams more competitive.

If you can't see Fleury's struggles, then I don't know what to tell you. There was a reason Tomas Vokoun was brought in. We aren't talking about 1 goal like the goalies you mentioned. We are talking about 3+ years of mental lapses and collapses. No one wants to see the guy fail, but he has a lot as of late. Here is hoping for a shutout tonight

A 7 game series is now a 3 game series. The Islanders are now believing they can win the series. That last period was a horrid defensive effort. No bodies on anyone. No intensity. I thought I was watching last year's Flyers series again.

Blysma is gonzo if the Pens go out in this round with the world's most talented team.

In a 7 game series, the best team almost always wins. We will see what happens now.

Your honor I rest my case!

I'm not sure Vokoun is the guy to lead this team through this series or to the cup, but Im willing to give him a shot.
