I just think it's funny that you didn't like taunting by BM STUDENTS, but don't seem to mind it by Richland ADULT coaches. Hey, kids will be kids. And what about humble in victory, gracious in defeat. Tit for tat???

LOL, you are miserable no matter what the team or subject so I doubt this will register with you, but I do not consider the players playing the game, within the rules, to be taunting behavior. The kids played the game the best they could. Richland didn't call time outs at the end to set up scores, or run a play to score on the last play, or even go for a 2 point conversion after the first 2 or 3 scores. So, no there was no taunting behavior.

The behavior of the BM students on the other hand, who have professed their faith as part of their attendance, at a Christian, Catholic school, taunting opposing players while they prayed before a game, is unacceptable behavior.

Congrats Richland! You know you finally made it when people start ripping on you like they did McCort for years! Things like "the adult coaches taunt kids" and you run up the score. Or instead of "wow, 70 points must mean they have a great offense" you get "how can you let a bad McCort team score 21 points on your starters"! Well done Rams!

Thank you Manfred. My point exactly. When a program is good the haters come out. Moldy evidently didn't get what my point was. It has happened to the Rangers in the past.

Irregardless, if a school has a bad reputation in football, it's because of their TEAM (players and coaches), not their fans.

My point was that a team gets a rap automatically when they are good on here whether it is deserved or not. I never had a problem with McCort or FH before. I never thought that either were necessarily dirty or ran up scores (well for the most part except the flea flicker and onsides kick incident). Just two good programs that played hard and played well.

And, people love to hate a winner. Simple human nature. If someone is on top, Knock 'em down! Just look at Titans' rage against PSU. That borders on sick. It doesn't matter who you are, you will sometimes be on top, sometimes be on the bottom. Being on the bottom teaches humility. I'm wondering if BMCHS has EVER had that. Taunts of "satan worshippers" proves they haven't.

I was away most of the weekend. This is my first chance to check out this post since Friday. At the game Friday night my friends whose kids attend McCort told me their kids came home from school and told them that the talk at school was Richland was going to score 90 points on McCort because it was the 90th anniversary of BM football. Sunday evening at a local gathering I was told that Richland's coach has no class and he will be crying when they have a starter get hurt because they are playing starters in the second half of games. Which bring up this question . How long do you play the starters( the 1st team) when you have a team of this caliber?? Yes, you don't want to get a important member of the team hurt. But, at some point I think you have to have your team ready to play a full 4 quarters. When Richland meets Central or another good playoff team they will have to play 4 qtrs. I want to hear your thoughts.
