Oregon's style isn't popular because they depend on a fast tempo. When tempo slows and they go 3 and out they crumble. Slower tempo is easier to keep up with.

But the dictate the tempo, and they win more than they lose.

Oregon is trend setting everywhere, at every level. Their style is overly popular. Fast tempo, no huddle spread, that is Chip Kelly through and through.

I'm not saying oregon doesn't have athletes that are very good. They do. All i am saying is that their offense is very simple. It thrives off not letting the defense get a chance to set and make a play. Great defenses and great coaches will stop that almost all the time. i've seen oregon play stanford in person. They can't play their style against them because of those two reasons. Oregon is also hyped up because they are what i like to call Nike University. The amount of advertising money that Nike puts into ESPN and other sports networks is huge, it can't hurt when those analyst know their advertisment money is supplied by the company who donates a large portion to oregon athletics. Simply put on paper at the end of the year if all team wins out SOS goes like this. 1. Bama/Missouri 2. FSU 3. Oregon.

They took their starters out at halftime at Tennessee. I watched them play Cal in a absolute downpour and they had 21 points in like 7 minutes. Any team is in trouble if they have 3 and outs so that argument really doesn't make any sense. 8 plays out of 42 formations isn't 8 plays it's 42 plays...

Acting like Oregon isn't one of the best 2 teams in the country would be like acting like Lebron isn't good, or a nascar fan saying Jimmie Johnson sucks, or a golf fan saying Tiger wasn't good in his hey day. There really isn't a debate here...Oregon at the lowest should be #2 in the country

I'd say lowest 3. Florida State just dismantled Clemson, a team most thought was good. FSU has an argument with Alabama and Oregon.

Every year I hear this from Oregon and every year they choke or lose when the defense gets tough. Oregon is no #1 or #2 team. They big wins so far? A 3 loss Washington and a 4 loss Tennessee. Talk when they stay undefeated in the overrated PAC 12

Oregon is in the conversation every year, aside from Alabama, who else is?

Oregon's last 5 losses have been
Stanford
USC
LSU
Auburn
Ohio State

They don't choke. A choke is losing to Arizona or Washington State, not to top 5 teams.

I consider it a choke because they end up losing the games that they NEED to win. Their record against end of season top 10 teams is very bad
