Nvm he is now first in the nation with 244 carries. Kephart was listed with only 74 carries. This is insane

Just a little update on the comparison since someone brought it up again....
Austin Myers - 244 Carries 1146 Yards 4.7 YPC 163.7 YPG 10 TD's
Caleb Kephart - 74 Carries 1287 Yards 17.4 YPC 183.9 YPG 22 TD's

Chiefwapum he is now THIRD in the Nation in carries with 244...the two rushers in front of him have 253 and 251 respectively.

TAHS92Alum - There are 29 running backs with 200 or more carries in the Nation. He only has more yards than FOUR of those 29.

I all for riding a horse if you have one, but that many carries kinda makes the game plan for the opposition easy.

Just as a sidebar but there is no way of knowing how he actually stacks up nationally in carries because max preps only compares schools that submit their own stats. In theory you could be comparing him to only 5 or 10% of schools nationally. I'm not discounting your point that he has a lot of carries just trying to point out facts.

That's probably the game plan of teams that play Portage and many other teams. Stop their main running back.
That doesn't work so well against all teams does it?
