I responded to your usage of the words "banned substance abuse". There are a lot of banned substances, especially when it comes to professional athletes. I interpreted your words to mean a year off w/o pay for a guy using steroids. Maybe you should be more specific, too.

They need a whole new front office for the NFL. I was reading an article a week or so ago that had a bunch of incidents just as bad as this and some worse, and they all got brushed under the rug until the got caught this time. It's also ridiculous how much they have changed rules to allow offenses to score more points so that the casual fans don't get bored. It takes away the true football feel. If I didn't like the steelers so much I wouldn't watch the NFL at all anymore. At least I can still watch real football on Fridays and Saturdays.
