Once upon a time junior high football had a six game season. four high school teams made the district playoffs. There were no state playoffs.

Football had a bright future then

Let the kids play! Believe me the kids would want to play just as much as anyone. Don't see any negative in scheduling an extra game between two good teams.

Still is up this way. Play a 10 game schedule too. The more you do something, the better you get. I don't understand the attitude of some. Why is it such a big deal?

Yup good one up this way Wednesday night. Huntingdon and Spring Cove both 7-1, both having lost to ur Eagles!

I just hope they raise the salary cap to compensate for the additional games!! :)

It would have been a great experience for the kids to learn how to play in a pressure situation. That would have been one huge positive.

Maybe Coach... To this day there really isn't anything in life like running out on the field for a big game. Nothing prepares you for the emotion. Ah to be young again

Don't think a Jr High championship has quite the same effect
