I don't think the ankle thing is even up for debate. If you watch the tape and you know the game it's a non-issue. I think there's some tuba toters on here that have judgement-clouding reservations.

And whatever #59 was doing (trying to strip the ball, digging knuckles into somebody's ribs, etc.) I wouldn't be comfortable putting that in the top 10 dirty plays of my own career. It's football. The only person I see in the wrong is the short-fused punk throwing punches. He should know by this point that he can do his talking on the field.

I was raised to despise the Mustangs and I side with them on this. It's football.

You're crazy. The only real evidence on the video is the HC kid. Not saying the Portage kids didn't have bad intentions, but there's absolutely no conclusive evidence. Replay the down.

However there is never a time where a play should come to blows. Take it back to the huddle and you hit him on the next play. I looked and see the kid is a sophomore a few games on the sideline should make him think twice
Agree 100%...the actions of #32 were unexcusable...the young man better learn to control his emotions or he is going to spend alot of time on the sidelines watching...Still think the portage players were being dirty above and beyond your typical "nasty" at the bottom of a pile. Vontaze Burfict was fined $25000 for the same type of gutless action...maybe a $.25 fine could be levied and we can move on!

I agree with this. As well as those two portage players. Its a two way street and when a school has video like this they should act not brush it off. Everyone involved should be suspended 3 games
I don't think you ever played football. It is NOT a two way street when somebody starts throwing punches.

those 4 "refs" sure weren't there very quickly after that play ended...in fact it takes them quite a few seconds to get there....

Just looking though, I only see this kid throwing punches. I don't have ears on the play so who knows what is being said. The thing that makes me wonder is there are no reaction from other players in the area to the pile. Just watch your baseball brawls usually it only takes one swing and the dugouts empty.

Two kids almost broke an ankle of a kid after the whistle was blown. Why you continue holding a kids ankle after the refs blew the play dead idk. And the kid who jumped on top of #35 when the play was dead is even worse. The kid who threw a punch should be published harshly but the kids who put another players career at risk with after the play shanigans should also be published harshly. I've played football, watched and helped coach I know what happens and this is a case where a dirty play is caught on tape.

Does no one else remember times when teammates or opponents do a dirty play and get away with it? I do and I've called friends out many times on it with Penns manor. This wasnt just another play and those who consider it just football needs to grow out of that age. When I was playing coachs called concussions just football and play through it, we all know how that ends up

We must be watching different plays. The play I've been referring to at the HC - Portage game where nobody was trying to break an ankle before or after the play. When you get a chance post a link to the play you're watching.

But YOU DON'T SEE ANYTHING ON THE VIDEO, except the HC kid. You dont see an ankle being ripped off. He holds on to make the tackle then doesn't let go. He doesn't twist, grind, chomp, munch, punch, twist, bite, chew, spit on, lick or poke the kids ankle. He just didn't let go right away.
