The Seeds are out so I will give a shot at some predictions.

Last year the lowest seed to make it to the finals was Crouse (who won it) as the 6th seed at 145 and he faced Braden Fochtman who was tied for the second lowest seed (4th) with two other wrestlers. I'm going to be pretty boring here and not predict any major upsets. I don't have any finalists lower than a 3 seed.

106 - 1.Gavin Teasdale over 2. Aaron Burkett
113 - 1.Max Murin, over 2. Nolan Link
120 - 3. Justin McCoy over 1. Caleb Bordner
126 - 1. Jonathan Gabriel over 2. Sammy Hepler
132 - 1. Adam George over 3. Jake Boozel
138 - 1. Mike Carr over 2. Tommy Opdenhoff
145 - 1. Chase Schaeffer over 2. Colby Stroup
152 - 1. Trent Crouse over 3. Austin Mears
160 - 2. Hunter Harner over 1. Bryce Fochtman
170 - 1. Jared Walker over 3. Levi Niebauer
182 - 1. Bill Bowlen over 2. Gage Gladysz
195 - 2. Alek Hummel over 1. Conner Buttry
220 - 1. Reynold Maines over 2. Danny Scheib
285 - 1. Al Beattie over 2. Nate Gadinski

I noticed that Ridge was missing Shane Davis and Brandyn Beaver. I think Shane is out due to injury, but not sure what's up with Beaver. Also, is Ridge's 220lber Jon Heming out too? I didn't see his name listed at 220. If they have 3 guys out that would make it awfully tough to win another team title.

Yeah I noticed that too. It looks like they are missing wrestlers at 4 different weights, 170,182,220 and 285. I'm not sure if maybe the earlier post on here about ineligibility could be factored in.

With Heming and Davis I don't think it would be grades. I'm pretty sure Davis is because of injury and Shane also gets good grades and from what I know about Heming, he gets good grades, so he could possibly be injury too. Beaver....not real sure how he is grade wise, so he could be eligibility, but not sure.

I didn't even notice that Ridge didn't have anyone listed at 170. That's 4 weights missing, I'm not even sure who would normally be there at that weight. Beaver had been at 182, Heming at 220 and Davis at HWT. With that many weights missing, everyone else would need to wrestle lights out in order to contend for another team title.

Ridge has some guys they could put in at some of those weights. They have 2 HWTs listed as backups..Landon Kensinger and Joel Evans. Landon has wrestled some this year and won matches. They have Kyle Nichols and Brandon Clark listed at 195 so one of them could have could possibly been placed in at 220.

How many teams are at the Thomas tournament? It could be entirely possible they put backups in, but the just didn't get seeded in the top 16?

#4 Ridge still has 10 seeded wrestlers: 2/7/3/7/6/4/14/1/6/u/u/1/u/u
#9 North Schuylkill 10: 5/4/6/u/8/u/17/u/u/10/7/2/6/2
#10 TriValley 8: u/9/1/2/u/u/1/2/2/13/u/u/2/u
#11 South Fayette 10: 15/5/12/u/u/1/5/u/u/1/10/8/14/14
#12 Greenville 9: 6/11/4/6/14/u/u/u/3/u/2/3/11/u
#15 West Branch 11: 11/6/10/11/10/u/u/9/9/5/u/5/1/15
#16 Mount Union 9: 9/16/16/u/3/5/11/u/u/u/16/u/8/8
#19 Jefferson-Morgan 8: 1/u/2/19/u/u/8/10/u/u/1/7/u/3
#22 Berlin 11: u/13/14/15/2/8/u/u/1/2/6/6/7/5
#23 Central 11: u/19/11/4/7/3/10/6/7/11/u/u/13/12
#24 Burrell : u/u/13/14/u/u/u/4/u/u/11/4/u/1

Team predictions I'll go with 1) Tri Valley, 2) Ridge, 3) North Schuylkill

Also sticking out to me was Bowlen of Jeff Morgan going up to 182, 170 is a loaded weight @ Thomas / WPIAL / SW region.
