Re: All AAABA team
He was drafted in 99. Playing in 96 or 97 would have made him 16 at the time. Maybe my sources were wrong. Who knows....they were sauced up pretty good!
Re: All AAABA team
Under AAABA rules he would have been 17 in 1998.

Matt Bimeal did pitch for Wise in the 1998 tournament as a pick up player. The short stop was Clint "spanky" Page. Wise Trailer Sales went 2-2 that year. Kevin Lazeski was the the hard throwing left handed. Brian Neal was signed by the Dodgers following the tournament

So I was chatting with my buddies about this the other night, and it came to us, Degorey! That was the RHP I was thinking of. Did he go anywhere?

I didn't neccessarily mean signing with a pro team, but did he play in college or anything? I thought he had some good stuff. Granted I was never really good at baseball to begin with.say_oww wrote:Uh... no.

Re: All AAABA team
Maybe... most kids in that league play some small college ball. Rarely do you see anyone from the D1 level. Even rarer is when a kid leaves to go to pro ball. But hey, you never know!
