No missed goal (shot went wide). It's the butt-end of Vasilevskiy's stick.
yeah...blasted that about a second after I posted it...

Not a commentary on this thread, but it sure is good to see for two days now, a certain topic not in the top 5!
It ain't over until it's over.

Letang needs a shot of that sweet chin music...what the hell was he doing last night? once again you could say he cost them the game..flailing around like he never played hockey before...just stood there and watched the first goal happen...was on ice for the last 6 TB goals I believe. Fleury, same as Murray, for the most part was victim of bad play..the OT goal, WTF was dude doing right in the middle of the paint alone...freak bounce off his back for winner..but dayam..terrible defense all night. Letang again, TOO many turnovers...and to top it off, malkin, crosby and letang disappear and don't defende goalie after...they're in trouble

Not making excuses for Letang's poor, but does anyone else think he looks like he is just running out of gas?   He is averaging 29.09 minutes  of TOI.   The most of any player still in the playoffs.   This after averaging over 28 minutes TOI in the last two months of the season.

He looked like he was skating in snow on the wrap around goal that tied the game late.   Just seems like he has been getting slower and slower every game.

Lightning in 6
This is the only prediction with a chance.  On Thursday a lady I work with said it looked like it was going to go seven.  I told her it wouldn't because Tampa would win the next three.

I think you hit the nail on the head here. The Penguins are behind in the series because of the blue line. Stralman is a world class player and probably the 3rd or 4th best dman on the current lightning roster. The Pens began the series with 2 blueliners that could match the speed of the Bolts and now they are down to 1. That 1 (Letang) looks slower each game.
Not making excuses but the deeper this series has went, the more it is apparent that the Penguins got shafted in having to face two of the conferences top 4 just to get here. If the Pens played the bolts in round 1 or 2, I think they would have won in 6.

The only way the Pens can pull this off is with the Crosby/Malkin.

If the pens played the bolts in round 1 or 2 it would of been lightning in 5 or 6. Everyone seems to forgetting bishop got hurt beginning of this series and he carried Tampa in rounds 1 or 2.

Not to mention they are minus stamkos the whole post season. I think blaming round 1 and 2 is pretty childish
