But that doesn't matter because of the splitting between A, AA, and AAA in the District. PM, HC, and Blairsville could run the Heritage and give LV, MC and West Shamokin losing records. McCort, Westy, CH, and Richland could be on the bottom of the LHAC. BA, MU, SH, and WB could be the bottom of the ICC. Then obviously Penns Valley. Granted this has never happened, but with the new classifications, it is possible for these teams to all be dominated by other teams in their conference NOT in the same District playoffs.
D6 AA
1. Ligonier Valley Heritage
2. Bishop McCort LHAC
3. Bellwood-Antis ICC
4. Mount Union ICC
5. Westmont Hilltop LHAC
6. Southern Huntingdon ICC
7. West Shamokin Heritage
8. Cambria Heights LHAC
9. Penns Valley Mountain
10. Richland LHAC
11. West Branch ICC
12. Marion Center Heritage
District 5 AA has Berlin, Everett, and Chestnut Ridge. If they all have a bad year going 3-7, should they just cancel D5 out of the bracket?

AAAA has 6 teams that play different season opponents, they could all be under .500.
D5/6/9 AAAA (Top 4 Qualify)
1. Johnstown
2. Clearfield
3. DuBois
4. Bellefonte
5. Bradford
6. Somerset
I'm not saying it will happen, but the opportunity is there

The situation is possibly happening in AAAAA right now, at least at the D6 -D8 level. Central Mountain and Hollidaysburg will be able to play for the right to then play Brashear. All 3 of those teams currently have losing records. The winner of the CM/Hol - Bra game then plays the D10 champ.

Lloyd..That's true other than girls track last year. Baseball also made the playoffs, despite missing one of their top pitchers all season. Just not many athletes at the school right now. There are a bunch in the elementary program, so we'll see how they come along in the next few years. That United team that you mentioned was very good, I still think there was one team that went unbeaten that didn't make the playoffs or maybe that was the year before Districts started.
Two of their best youth wrestlers both moved to Forest Hills this year.

Agreed. That's why I have them projected at 3-7 at the beginning of this thread. I have them losing their 3 remaining conference games. But anything can happen on the field of play.
