Per today’s Tribune Democrat:
Pool play to stay
Four franchises are no more: Boston, Baltimore, Chicago South Shore and Livonia. This means there are now only twelve AAABA franchises.
Johnstown, Altoona, Brooklyn and Buffalo will field two teams each in 2018 tournament.

Looks like Johnstown AAABA will only have 4 teams this summer. The new team slated to join is on hold until 2019.

Saw the first game yesterday 19-7 4 hours to play 7 innings. The head coach is clueless. .

There's always high school varsity, and American Legion games for reasonably good sports entertainment.

No, I am not a player there. Just curious as to why the coach is clueless since he's been there many years.
