One of those is an undefeated Wilmington team that will likely be playing in the AA Western Final next week and would likely be favored to beat either of these teams. The other was Greenville that was just knocked out by Wilmington last weekend. Their 3rd loss was to an undefeated team from Ohio that is is playing in their state semifinals this weekend. 3 losses but 3 very good teams they lost too. Not saying FH won't win just that Sharon's 3 losses don't make them any less of a team. They've played some stiff competition.

Will they cheap shot their way to a win as they tried (and failed) several years ago? Johnstown was bigger, faster. Ditto BGU, Central, Huntingdon. Rangers somehow find a way to win.

Who cares what someone's brother in law said, who cares what teams beat Sharon?  The Karns City team they dropped 67 on was absolutely terrible.   FH is our D6 rep.   Long and Cecere are special.  The defense has played well.   They dominated a very good Huntingdon team a weak ago.  Let's all hope they win.  They are not a private school and aren't using any transfer players so let's support them.   I was pulling for Central last year.

I didn't say I wasn't hoping they would win. I was just reporting that from his perspective that Sharon was the better team. I hope all D5 & D6 public schools win every playoff game they play against other districts. I do not root for the All-Star teams that are assembled whether they are local or not.

I'll take Forest Hills in a tight one. 17-13.

Since the move to 6 classes. Besides A I think d6 has a good shot a winning a state title in AAA any year now. Central was a play or 2 away last year from making it. Hopefully FH can bust through. Maybe some other teams can bring recognition to the district. I mean from other posts only one team has brought the recognition. Yes they are 3 in a row state champs but Forest Hills Tyrone 3 times Bishop Carroll Bishop McCort and State College. All those teams made it before BG Tyrone might have been the only other team to win but all those teams made it and brought recognition to the district.

AA is always going to be tough with Southern Columbia waiting in the wings, but Ligonier has a chance to do it this year, and next year Forest Hills or Ligonier will have a chance.

Pulling for FH as well. Was just giving some insight on the opposition for those that may not be familiar with them.
