Not big into all area football. But what makes 14 BG team better then 15 BG team? I thought 15 team steam rolled everyone? Also didn’t BG and LV both beat Homer Center, McCort and Northern Cambria by exact same scores? Again I haven’t watch enough of those teams mentioned to know enough just what I remember and have heard

Don't forget about the 2016 Central team that won districts by a combined score of 76-6, beat Karns City and then led eventual state champ Beaver Falls 7-0 in the 3rd only to lose a heartbreaker 14-7. Beaver Falls went on to win the state championship game the next week by 3 scores over Middletown.
The district was really down that year, Forest Hills was just babies witb a freshman qb and Juniata was an embarrassment to even be in the district title game. Karns City was terrible that year. Beaver Falls was playing without there best lineman in the western final.
BF lineman in question didn't play in the state final, but played against Central. Also had Donovan Jeter who now plays at Michigan.

The 2015 team was more dominant but the 2014 team was the base of the 2015 team plus Brandon Chadbourn, Sam McCloskey, and Adam Berger. Gormley was a good player too. Just think they had more weapons, more explosive.
I kind of think that’s almost as true with 2009 McCort. The 2008 McCort team was all those guys with a better QB, plus Lowry and Wadley. The 2008 McCort team ran into a machine in Steel-High, but they were probably as good or better than the 2009 team.

BG had quarterbacks in all three championship seasons who could throw on LV and every other team mentioned. The dominant run game took away from how effective they were throwing the football.

So out of the team's that made it to the dance. 09 McCort 11 Tyrone 14 BG 15 BG 16 BG and 17 HC. If we made a playoff bracket with those 6 teams. Hypothetically speaking who wins it all. Let the fun begin. Lol

BG 15 IMO. The backs were just as good. The linemen were bigger, more experienced, and they knew how to win

Agreed.15 BG was definitely the best team, but I think the BG 14 team could beat the 15 team 3/10 times.
