Juniata, the 2 seed, with a 23-2 record, lost their 2 games in the D6 tournament by a combined 34 points. Ouch.

They may have done better had their coach not been consumed with arguing every single foul, no foul, possession, out of bounds, turnover call all night and actually coached his team

Yes. Looked nothing like a 2 seed. CC girls came out slow but did what they needed to do. Consy game, 6:00 start on the road, small crowd all could possibly attribute to the sluggish start. They will have their hands full with West Shamokin in the 5th place game.

I always have trouble projecting Juniata in the postseason, whether it's boys basketball, football, girls basketball they always have gaudy records.

Yeah. I looked at some of the common opponents and saw they beat PO by only 4 and Bellefonte by 1. When I said 5-6 different teams could win the girls 3A bracket I wasn't counting the 2 seed as one of them.

Not a prediction, but a wish that BC beats the new recruiting school in District 6 that is located in Alexandria. I never thought I would root for a parochial school over what is supposed to be a public school. At least with the privates usually they don't hide their interest in recruiting other people's talent.
