That was a super weak year and Somerset had some very good talent, but I agree that they have been not very good for a while.

If BEA would have been healthy the night they lost to PV , would outcome have been different, great year so far for Penns Valley.

Not real sure it would have been. Jones at QB for BEA is a difference maker for sure and not having him obviously changes the offense entirely. What was impressive tonight was that PV came in averaging 50+ ppg throwing the ball all over the field and tonight was held to 13 points and still came away with a win vs a really good 4A school. PV senior QB Aaron Tobias came into tonight completing 70% of his passes for 2142 yards, 36 TDS and only 2 INTs.

A "back-of-the-pack" comment: I know it was ONLY CC, but the Ranger kiddie corps definitely grew up a bit last nt., notching Justin Myers' 1st win as FH head Coach on the new rug @ FHHS. Tied at the half, they stifled pretty much the Red Devil RB Long, which basically is all their offense, in the second half, and along with some very inopportune CC penalties, win 27-14. Hopefully they can give BGU a game next Sat. nt., but I'm thinking they slip up, and drop this one and Westy at home, before winning against PC to end the season. Bring on wrestling.
