In 1986 at Bedford (and you know how bad the wind can be there!), I ran a 2:03 800m on a windy, freezing cold day in the middle of a snow squall. The air temp was 28 degrees and the wind chill was maybe 15. Bets part was, I had on shorts and a signet and spikes. That's it.
Weather is a figment of man's imagination.

but they grew 'em tougher back in the day...kids these days are wusses and need their under armours and ski caps...its rediculous i tell ya!

Kids these days wear that stuff cause they can not cause they arent tuff those tuff guys had to be "tuff" because they didnt have underarmor if they did they would have worn it also
-theres a difference between being tuff and stupid

Well said tuffguy....there is a difference between stupid and tough. I think it's amazing that WPIAL Titan could push himself enough to run an 800 in that amount of time with how terrible the weather must have been but then again, that was also kinda crazy.

I wear Under Armour because I have to. Comes with running three relays at a track meet and having long sleeved white shirts being a requirement.
