And Lebron also more than doubled his assist total while shooting just as much. He created more points for his team, thus, being more valuable. Also, who else was there to score on the Cavs?

Melo still led in 6 of the 10 categories I posted. Melo didn't take as many shots and scored more points.

Melo wasn't the PG, that was Miller's job. Bringing the ball up the floor means you can throw ONE pass to someone and they can score getting you an assist. Being Melo, he had to take the first pass and then make another pass. PG's also get to set up the offense for yet one more shot at the whole one pass theme I'm getting at. PGs almost always have the most assists and this is PART of the reason.

you can feed all this most valuable stuff to the birds. this isnt a most valuable award. this award goes to the player that played the best this season. lebron played better than carmello. he is the rookie of the year.

look at the stats I posted Austin.

You can't argue that. He was better in what way...by being on a team that lost and by having weaker stats in more categories than Carmello. Denver isn't the basketball mecca of the world either. I think the Lebron HYPE wins this award for him.

i think the fact that he faced all this hype and performed the way he did wins this award. i think he is a better player b/c i watched both of the guys several times this season on tv and saw lebron live once. i just saw that w/ my own eyes that lebron was the better player. lebron gets the award.

Coach, you just proved my point. LeBron scored just as many points(ok, so he scored abour 0.2 less...) while being that person who passed the ball to start the offense.

freshman vs sophmores

Speaking of lebron. Anyone see the freshman vs sophmore game? Lebron and carmello were the whole team. Lebron is making a pretty big influence on the nba, wonder how long it will last.

I proved the point, but I proved that he shot more. Wanna score more points....shoot the ball more. The PG had more shots than the SF.

Fiction.

Carmelo

Because I like him.

His performance in the NBA reinforces what we observed him accomplish last year at Syracuse.
