Foghorn, good comment about Bill Walton. He is the Joe Namath of the NBA analysts.
How about that Pistons - Nets Thriller?
Its all about the Pistons here in Hockey Town. Looks like they may be following the Wings into past season rest?

Well, the Lakers just beat the Nets. The Drama continues. I'm sure the networks and other media people are thrilled. And all the Laker haters get to exercise that hatred at least another week or so.

Foghorn I think you meant that the Lakers bear the Spurs not the Nets... Lakers locked down defensivley in the last 4 games after being roughed up in games 1 & 2... Lakers once again look like the team to beat in the NBA!

Right. My bad. I've been watching too much basketball lately!

It wasn't pretty offensively, but the Pistons/Pacers game was still exciting tonight. 19 blocked shots by the Pistons, including the great one by Tayshaun Prince on Reggie Miller at the end of the game. My only problem is that neither of the broadcasters made the point that needed to be made: Miller screwed up bigtime by not slamming the ball down. Prince made a great play, but Miller, with his experience, surely realized that someone had to be bearing down on him. The broadcasters should have called him on it.

Well, I'm sure Commissioner Stern and all the other network numbnuts are happy the Lakers are in the finals. Besides, we get to see Jack N. make an **** out of himself for another two weeks.
Seriously, there's the possibility of some interesting basketball on TV with the potentially high-powered offense of the Lakers against the Pistons' tough defense.
