I dont want to even go to the College/Pro Sports forum because everytime PSU is talked about, Hollywood says how every PSU fan thinks PSU is better then what they really are. Come up with something else. Or here's an idea...SAY NOTHING. Everyone here knows PSU is still down but it's not like PSU players aren't working hard like you say your WVU players are.

Just curious how long you think it will be until Dan Conner is permanently inserted into the defensive lineup for the Nits. He seems to have a nose for the ball and his experience to be gained this year bodes well for the defensive side of the ball for the Lions.

To be honest, unless there is an injury Joe won't start Connor over the Sr. Wake. I think Connor will continue to get more and more playing time over Wake. But I doubt he'll start. I definitely think Connor should start with Shaw and Pos.

I understand this CPA. Topics don't always go as planned and I know they will get off topic, but I'm trying to limit that. I don't want the post to be 2 pages of stuff that has nothing to do with the topic...a few posts here and there are fine.

Anyway...Minny's coach, Glen Mason has tons of respect for JoePa. I wouldn't mind seeing him on the PSU sideline someday.

Did anyone see Minny's game last weekend? I didn't know they had that new turf that is half and half. It looked nice, but it still has that dome look, which comes across on tv...and I don't the "dome look".

*At Tuesday's press conference Joe was awfully complimentary about Mason. Despite what anyone might want to say, I think the search for JoePa's successor has begun.

*You know, this is the type of game where someone (Morelli?) could step up and mark his mark. Historically, it's a game like this that often gives a new young player his start. Might seem like a miracle at this point -- but we can always hope.

*And I'd like WVU to win too, beleive it or not. I've got some couch-burning relatives down there.

Yes, Hall himself did play at Williamsburg.

Penn State has a lot of holes to fill before we can see some "W's". In my opinion the defense is very weak especially the defensive line--Where as D. Wake been at linebacker??? The offensive line is weak as well I hear a change blowin in the wind throughout the commonwealth of pa.

I didn't play college football but I was a member of the greatest flag football team ever put together......Albrights Plumbin and Heatin ruled the Garver YMCA flag football league for years. I think we lost 1 game in something like 4 years

I hope PSU wins as far as not rooting for the other team, but unfortunately, in recent years, they have been rather pathetic. The only reason that they are 2-2 is that they played Akron and Central Florida, if not for that, they'd probably be 0-4. Minnesota will probably spank them to the tune of something like 35-7. I wonder what would turn the PSU program around. I seriously am starting to have doubts about Joe Pa. Not to take anything away from his 340 or so wins, as he was once a great coach. But can he still get the job done against quality teams? It, unfortunately, doesn't look like it.
