Sorry but Bush lost PA because of Philly and P-burgh. But look here and see where all the Kerry support is.

np - I just wanted to set it straight before the liberal outcry on here about how we're trying to take PA away from them.
Foxnews also gave it to Kerry. When the final #'s come out for PA, you'll see that President Bush will win 70-80% of the counties, but will lose because of Democratic strangleholds in Philly and Pittsburgh. Who wants to give Philly to New Jersey? I'll vote for it.
Here's something interesting to ponder as we consider giving Philly away to New Jersey.
In PA, Kerry received 2,883,833 votes, Bush received 2,756,361, a difference of 127,472 votes.
In Philly alone, Kerry received 522,812 votes, Bush 125,184, a difference of 397,628 votes.
Take Philly out of the mix and Bush has 2,631,177 votes to Kerry's 2,361,021 votes.
With the exception of Philly, PA overwhelming choose President Bush. How do you all like having Philly choose our elected officials for us?

Maybe we should let Philly stay in PA, and have central PA secede....we can call ourselves North Alabama.

One interesting exit poll stat:
MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE
First number is Bush, 2nd is Kerry
Taxes (5%) 57% 43%
Education (4%) 26% 73%
Iraq (15%) 26% 73%
Terrorism (19%) 86% 14%
Economy/Jobs (20%) 18% 80%
Moral Values (22%) 80% 18%
Health Care (8%) 23% 77%
It seems that Iraq and Terrorism are viewed as two separate issues.
The whole morality issue confuses me to some degree. I'm honestly glad George Bush is a moral person, but that doesn't make a good present. I really thought Jimmy Carter was a moral person, but he didn't make a great president. I know it's just an opinion, but I'd certainly rather have a president that dealt with health care and jobs than with morality.
